Robert S. Dolrenry


Rob is Director of Sales for Gray Eagle Distributors. He has been an Angels’ Arms Board Member since 2002. He also serves on the Leadership Council for the BackStoppers. Rob and his wife, Shannon, have three beautiful daughters: Paige and twins, Claire and Lauren.

Mary Grasse


Mary works for Child Care Aware® of Missouri, serving as a community resource on child care throughout the state providing information to parents, programs, business and civic leaders on the value and importance of child care and collaborating with them to make child care safe and enriching for children. She has a diverse background in Information Systems and Project Management. Her goal is to promote and improve the welfare of all children in Missouri. She joined the Angels’ Arms Board in 2012. Mary and her husband Lou are native St. Louisans, have six daughters, and enjoy flying, Forest Park and of course, family.

Michelle Haley


Michelle is the Chief Financial Officer at? Citizens National Bank of Greater Saint Louis in Maplewood, Missouri. Michelle has over 20 years of experience in the financial service industry. She joined the Angels’ Arms Board in 2012 in order to make more of a difference in the lives of children in need. Michelle and her husband Mark live in Normandy with their fantastic son Dawson. Michelle enjoys golfing with friends and family, kickboxing, and watching the many sports her son plays.


Thomas W. Hartnagel


Tom is a Healthcare National Account Manager for Cisco. Tom was a founding member of the Angels’ Arms Board in 1999 and has served as event chair for the Stepping Out for the Angels Dinner/Auction since that time. Tom has been involved for more than a decade in shaping the Angels’ Arms strategy and fulfilling the vision of developing loving and nurturing homes for foster children. From the dream of starting one home to supporting nine homes in the metropolitan area, Tom is proud to be a part of this vital organization which has touched the lives of more than 250 children in the St. Louis area. Tom also is a member of the Eric Westacott Foundation and Chairman of the Phi Delta Theta Housing Campaign. Tom and his wife, Dana, live in Chesterfield with their three children: Libby, Thomas and Daniel.

Cyndi Heutel


Cyndi is the Administrative Assistant for the Lindbergh Schools Foundation where she works closely with the Board of Directors. Children hold a special spot in her heart, particularly those in need of extra support. Cyndi became a member of the Angels’ Arms Board in 2012. She is also involved with the ALS Foundation.

Jeff Hewitt

Jeff is the President/CEO/Founder of Welch ATM. Prior to starting his own business, Jeff served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at NCR. Jeff and his wife have been long time supporters of Angels’ Arms, and offer their home to benefit the organization and the foster families served. Jeff joined the Angels’ Arms Board in 2012. He is also a member of the Osage Heritage Board and the Ascension Athletic Association.

Brandon Loeschner - Treasurer


Brandon is a manager in RubinBrown’s Advisory Services Group, specializing in risk services. He also leads the Data Assurance and Analysis Team and chairs the Data Analysis Task Force for RubinBrown. Brandon became involved with Angels’ Arms in 2003 when he joined the Circle of Angels and was an inaugural member of the Junior Board. He is the Angels’Arms Board Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee.

Donna Mitchell


Donna is a Branch Manager and Vice President with Commerce Bank. She has been employed with Commerce for more than 20 years and currently manages the South County location (near the inaugural Tesson Ferry Angels’ Arms home). Donna has been involved with Angels’ Arms since 2004. She has served in a Board of Directors position for other non-profits including the Fenton Charitable Contributions Committee and the South County Chamber of Commerce. She also has volunteered with the Girls Scout Council, the American Heart Association and Junior Achievement. The lack of resources for the foster system, Donna’s love for children, as well as a very heartfelt introduction to Angels’ Arms by Founder Bess Wilfong, brought her to this much needed and worthwhile organization. Donna is a passionate and involved person who believes that each one of us can achieve more than we ever thought possible by realizing our own potential, going after our goals and supporting others to help them realize and achieve their goals.

Mary Glynn Meyer - Secretary


Mary served as Director of Community Relations in the Lindbergh School District for 32 years before retiring in 2009. She has been on the Angels’ Arms Board since 2005. She is currently the Board Secretary and Chair of the Marketing/PR Committee. Mary also is a member of the Lindbergh Schools Foundation Board of Directors and the Crestwood-Sunset Hills Kiwanis. In 2004, Mary and her husband, Mike, received the Angels’ Arms Volunteer of the Year Award. Mary and Mike have three grown daughters who are married and starting families of their own. Growing up in St. Louis, surrounded by a close-knit family has been important to the Meyers. Getting involved with Angels’ Arms gives the entire Meyer clan an opportunity to share the gift of “family” with foster children who deserve a chance to be part of a loving, supportive family.

Lisa Pepper


Lisa has more than 25 years of experience in the field of financial services and investments and is currently the Senior Manager of Account Operations at Scottrade. She has worked with firms including Confluence Investment Management, Morgan Stanley, Renaissance Financial, Dean Witter, Asset Consulting Group and Bridge Trading Company, where she served as President. Lisa has been an active Board Member and volunteer at Angels’ Arms since 2002 and serves on the Fall Event and Golf Tournament Committees. She is passionate in supporting Angels’ Arms and is dedicated to raising awareness about the organization. (If you have come in contact with Lisa, you have heard the Angels’ Arms story!) She also volunteered for the MS Society, St. Louis Effort for AIDS and the St. Vincent Home for Children. In 2007, Lisa received the Angels’ Arms Thomas Pulliam Volunteer of the Year Award and in 2002, she was recognized with the MS Society PathLighter Award for Innovation in Volunteer Service. Lisa was born and raised in the St. Louis area and currently lives in Chesterfield.

Tom Reed


Tom is the head of Finance and Corporate Operations for Electric Power Systems, and President of EPS Networks, an IT consulting firm. Tom became a member of the Angels’ Arms Board in 2012. He enjoys being part of a privately held organization that has a direct impact on our community. Tom serves on the Ascension School Board and the Enterprise Leasing-Customer Advisory Board.

Manuel Rivera


Manuel, better known as Manny, is the owner of Premier Prosthetics and Orthotics, LLC. Manny has been working in the field of prosthetics since 1998. He was born in Santiago, Chile and came to the United States at the age of two with his parents and two older brothers. His parents worked extremely hard as a waiter and housekeeper to ensure the future success of their children. Manny received his undergraduate degree in Biomechanics at the University of Illinois and attended graduate school at Feinberg School of Medicine for Prosthetics. Manny is engaged to Jamie Posey and will be getting married in the summer of 2013. Manny joined the Angels’ Arms Board in 2012. He has volunteered with numerous organizations, but has found a true connection with Angel’s Arms. Manny is very passionate about doing his part in ensuring that all children have a chance to live up to their true potential.

Jim Ruebsam

Jim is a Vice President in the Commercial Services Division of The Daniel & Henry Company, an insurance and risk management firm. Jim has been involved with Angels’ Arms since 2004. He was a founding member and the first President of the Junior Board, until joining the Board of Directors in 2009. While Jim currently chairs the Development Committee, he also has served on the Long Term Planning Committee and led several other endeavors for Angels’ Arms. He is passionate about spreading the word about the Angels’ Arms mission and has recruited many friends and family members into the cause. Jim and his wife, Jessica, live in St. Louis City with their twins, Rosie and Harry. Jim is a self-professed beer snob, foodie, world traveler and crazed fan of all Mizzou and St. Louis sports teams.

John Siefert


John is a Platinum Advisor with Renaissance Financial and has built his practice around Qualified Retirement Plans (401k and Profit-Sharing) and money management. He’s been with Renaissance for over 23 years and is a shareholder of Renaissance Financial, member of the Investment Committee, and past Chair of the Investment Committee. He joined the Angels’ Arms Board in 2012. He has also served on the Associate Board for Big Brothers/Big Sisters, and was a member of the Emerging Leaders Council of the St. Louis Science Center.

Tom Smallwood


Tom is an attorney at Stinson Morrison Hecker LLP, focusing his practice on real estate, commercial lending and general business transactions. Tom joined the Angels’ Arms Board of Directors in 2011, after being an active volunteer and participant in Angels’ Arms for almost eight years. He is a member of the Board’s Executive Committee and chairs the Governance Committee. Tom was an inaugural member of the Angels’ Arms Junior Board and his wife, Cory, was the organization’s first Director of Development. Tom’s other charitable pursuits include volunteering his time to Loyola Academy of St. Louis, the Fair St. Louis/VP Parade organization, Volunteer Lawyers & Accountants for the Arts, KDHX High Fidelity and Forsyth School. Tom and Cory live in University City with their two daughters.

Cory Spielberg
Cory is the Cofounder and Operating Partner of Upper End Properties, a full service real estate company serving the greater St. Louis area. He joined the Angels’ Arms Board in 2012. Cory has served on the Board of Big Brothers/Big Sisters since 2007, and established a charity called AG 4 Chesed in the memory of his dear friend, Alan Green.

Victoria Spielberg


Victoria is an Account Manager for Alexander Open Systems. She and her husband Cory joined the Angels’ Arms Board in 2012. Victoria enjoys working with Angels’ Arms to establish a safe, comfortable environment for children who currently may not have one. For Victoria, it all starts with the children. She moved to St. Louis from Russia in 1996. Victoria was a competitive ballroom and Latin dancer for 13 years. She is a committee member of AG 4 Chesed, is an active “big” for Big Brothers/Big Sisters, and is involved with Siteman Cancer Center. Victoria and Cory are avid skiers and got married on the slopes at Vail, Colorado. She also loves helping animals and has rescued two dogs, Alvin and Pearl.


John Stein, M.D.



Dr. John Stein provides comprehensive family health care as a family physician. He has been at his West County Family Care office in Chesterfield for almost 15 years. John strives to care for each patient as a unique individual and has a focus in Preventative Cardiology and Sports Medicine. He is Board Certified and on staff at Missouri Baptist Hospital, St. Luke’s Hospital and Mercy Hospital (formerly St. John’s Mercy). John and his wife, Colleen, have been friends of Angels’ Arms Director Bess Wilfong and her family for almost two decades…long before Angels’ Arms existed! John and Colleen were both founding Board Members of Angels’ Arms. While a member of numerous volunteer organizations, Angels’ Arms is where John’s passion burns brightest. John and Colleen are the proud parents of four children: Kevin, Brendan, Mary and Patrick.

Lindsey Stokes


Lindsey works in the public affairs department at Fleishman-Hillard where she specializes in public relations and issues management strategies. She joined the Angels’ Arms Board in 2012 and is a member of the PR Committee. Before relocating back to St. Louis in 2008, Lindsey volunteered at My Sister’s Place, an emergency women’s shelter in Washington, D.C. Lindsey and her husband, Christopher, live in University City with their two year old daughter, Reade.


Romondous Stover - Chairman


Romondous is Vice President and Assistant General Counsel of CKE Restaurants, Inc., franchisor and operator of Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr. Restaurants. He joined CKE Restaurants in 2002 and is responsible for the legal and franchise administration matters for both brands. Prior to joining CKE Restaurants, he was an associate attorney for The Stolar Partnership where he specialized in real estate transactions. Romondous was a founding member of the Angels’ Arms Board in 1999 and has served in the capacity of Vice Chairman or Chairman of the Board of Directors for the past eight years. Under his leadership, and with the efforts of an amazing board and staff, Angels’ Arms has grown from a grass-roots organization to a well-known and respected charity in the St. Louis community. His greatest accomplishment was the implementation of the organization’s Long Term Plan, focusing on the direction, financing and governance of the organization. In 2010, he received the Volunteer of the Year Award for his dedication and support of Angels’ Arms. Romondous also is Chairman of the Missouri History Museum Subdistrict and an active member of New Horizons Community Church in East St. Louis, Illinois. Romondous and his wife, Rayna, live in Lafayette Square.

Eric Verhulst


Eric is the First Vice President of Investments and Senior Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch. He and his wife Carla have supported Angels’ Arms events for years, and they appreciate the difference the organization makes in the lives of the Angels’ Arms foster children. Eric joined the Angels’ Arms Board in 2012. He also serves on the Board of Forest Hills Country Club. Eric and Carla live in Chesterfield and are the proud parents of Ej, Bella and Cole.


Colleen Wasinger


Colleen is an attorney at the Wasinger Law Group L.C., and owner of The DACA Group, a real estate company. Since 2007, she has also served on the St. Louis County Council as 3rd District Councilman. Colleen joined the Angels’ Arms Board in 2012, and she wants to contribute more to the Angels’ Arms mission. She is an active volunteer and also works on the County Council’s Public Improvements Committee, Committee on Justice, Health and Welfare, and Committee of the Whole. Colleen is also a member of Mercy Foundation’s Women and Children Advisory Board and the Community Advisory Board at Missouri Baptist Hospital.

Ron Wienstroer


Ron is a C.P.A. and Principal at Moneta Group. Prior to his career with Moneta, Ron served as a Partner at Ernst and Young, LLP, and was Senior Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Joining the Angels’ Arms Board in 2012 fits in perfectly with part of Ron’s family mission statement, to assist youths in need. Ron also serves on the SIU-Carbondale School of Accounting Advisory Board, the Forsyth School Capital Campaign & Finance Committees, and volunteers at the Covenant House.
