Moving into a new home can be a real challenge. But what happens when the challenge is getting a home ready for foster parents and up to six foster children, all within a very tight budget? That is the dilemma Angels’ Arms faced, not just once, but nine times as homes were opened to assist foster parents and keep sibling groups together throughout the St. Louis area.
When looking for a hero to help fill their needs, Angels’ Arms found champions in several local businesses that assisted them throughout their amazing growth.

When Angels’ Arms was preparing to open its inaugural home in 2003, repairs and renovations were well underway when the unthinkable happened: the tile and flooring that had been purchased was stolen from the house. When Zickel Flooring learned of the problem, they came to the rescue, donating and installing the needed flooring. Since then, Zickel Flooring has supplied flooring for eight additional homes as well as providing our families with donations during the holidays.

What about actually moving our families? Angels’ Arms constantly relies on the professional moving services of Two Men and a Truck. In addition to assisting the families, Two Men and a Truck helped with an office move, and they also help each year with the set up for our dinner auction.
Once the homes are established, there are other needs to be met. Enter PM Leach Painting Co. In addition to donating services and supplies to power wash and paint the exterior of our Ferguson home, they support Angels’ Arms by sponsoring the dinner auction each year.
Exterior needs extend to replacing faulty windows and doors. Castle Rock Remodeling has taken care of windows at both South County homes, providing a beautiful new look that is also energy efficient.
On the inside, Holper’s Pest and Animal Solutions makes sure all nine Angels’ Arms homes are pest-free.
All of our heating and air conditioning issues are handeled by Hoffmann Brothers Heating and Air Conditioning.
Since the first home opened in 2003, eight homes have been successfully added thanks to the community members who support Angels’ Arms and our families in a myriad of ways. Our business partners continue to champion our homes, providing a variety of services to all of our families.
