Congratulations to the 52 TEAM GO ANGELS runners who participated in the 12th Annual GO! St. Louis Marathon on April 15th and did so while raising money for Angels' Arms. Collectively, the runners and their supporters raised over $23,000! Because of your sacrifice and selfless efforts, you’re helping change the lives of the many foster children living in our 9 Angels' Arms' homes.
We hope you can take a minute to think about what you’ve just accomplished. You’ve trained, fundraised, worked regular jobs, raised kids. What you’ve accomplished is nothing short of extraordinary. No one can take that away from you. Sometimes the fundraising wasn’t easy. Some of you had to work through injuries and other setbacks. Many of you traveled regularly throughout the week, but you still continued your training and fundraising efforts. You sacrificed your own time to help others and for that we are grateful.
Also, special thanks to those of you who worked the Expo and the tent at the marathon.
