Welcome to the team!

We are very excited to have an intern this summer and even more excited that it's our very own Javon Coleman.  Many of you may recognize Javon as a member of the Hackman Family from our Ballwin home.  He is currently on summer break from Benedictine College in Kansas and will be assisting the Angels' Arms' staff in everything from data entry to managing our social media.  He will even have his own blog, documenting his journey as an Angels' Arms' Intern.

Below is a message Javon wanted to share with our supporters.  Don't forget to track his progress via his blog titled "I AM" on Tumbler - thisisjavon.tumblr.com

My name is Javon Coleman and I am the newest member of the Angels' Arms team. I am so thankful for the opportunity and very appreciative to the Angels' Arms members who made it all possible. When I graduated from Parkway South High in 2009, I did not know what I wanted to do. I didn’t know what I wanted my major to be, where I would go to school, would I get my masters after, what I should take with me, even if I should date.  But something I did know was I would be playing varsity football somewhere, I would get an education from a higher institution, and I would receive care packages no matter where I was from Angels' Arms. I am now entering my junior year at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas, where I major in Business Finance with a minor in Business Management. I look forward to the experiences I will gain from this internship as well as the practical practice I will receive daily throughout the working environment. This experience will help me greatly in preparations for my career. ~ Javon
